This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is compulsory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions or anonymised to such an extent that a reference to your person can no longer be established.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. As a result, the YouTube server will be notified, which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account while you visit our site, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your browsing patterns to your personal profile. You have the option to prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube will be able to place various cookies on your device or comparable technologies for recognition (e.g. device fingerprinting). We would like to point out that there is a possibility that data processing operations of YouTube might take place on servers outside the EEA. Nevertheless, we also follow the legal requirements for ensuring the maximum protection of your personal data. Prerequisite for the transfer of personal data to third countries

In the course of our business relationships and the use of this website, your personal data may be passed on or disclosed to third parties. These may also be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), i.e. in third countries. Such processing takes place exclusively for the fulfillment of contractual, business or legal obligations and for the maintenance of your relationship with us (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b or lit f in each case in conjunction with Art. 44 et seq. DSGVO). We will inform you about the respective details of the transfer in the relevant places.

The European Commission certifies data protection comparable to the EEA standard in some third countries through so-called adequacy decisions (a list of these countries and a copy of the adequacy decisions can be found here). However, in other third countries to which personal data may be transferred, there may not be a consistently high level of data protection due to a lack of legal provisions. If this is the case, we ensure that data protection is adequately guaranteed. This is possible via binding company regulations, standard contractual clauses of the European Commission for the protection of personal data pursuant to Art. 46 Para. 1, 2 lit. c DSGVO (the 2021 standard contractual clauses are available here), certificates or recognized codes of conduct. Please contact our data protection officer if you would like to receive more detailed information on this.
